![]() It's a viable option for someone looking for a stellar gaming headset that can double, rather impressively, as a pair of everyday headphones. I switched back and forth between the Nova Pro and the new Sony WH-X1000M5, and while the X1000M5 certainly offers richer acoustics, the Nova Pro held its own. The Nova Pro's high-fidelity drivers and wealth of customization options-both out of the box and with the free Sonar app-allow it to rival similarly priced headphones from audio giants such as Sony and Bose. The other major perk of the Nova Pro is the aforementioned studio-quality audio. The PlayStation edition is for PlayStation and PC only. If you have both platforms, you'll want to opt for the Xbox version of the headset (functionally the same), as it supports both consoles and PC. ![]() ![]() On the gaming side, it's one of the few headsets that works wirelessly with both PS5 and Xbox. That said, the Arctis Nova Pro has a couple of notable bonuses going for it. That's a lot of cash for a gaming headset, especially when you consider that you can get the Arctis 7P+ for less than half the price of the Nova Pro Wireless. If you want to cut the cord, you'll have to shell out $350 for PlayStation, Xbox, or PC versions. The wired versions of the Nova Pro (Xbox and PC) retail for $250. There's no denying it: The Arctis Nova Pro is a high-end gaming headset with a steep asking price. I've tested dozens of gaming headsets over the years from all of the leading manufacturers, and the Nova Pro is without a doubt the best gaming headset I've ever used in terms of audio quality, comfort, and customization.īefore I dive into what makes the Arctis Nova Pro so great, let's get the pricing out of the way. I regularly use both of them with zero complaints, but they're now retired in favor of a new premium headset: the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro. The SteelSeries Arctis 7P+ commands the top spot on our best PS5 headsets list, while the Arctis 7+ stands above a crowded field on our best PC headsets list. ![]() ![]() SteelSeries consistently makes some of the best gaming headsets for both performance and comfort. ![]()

Maybe the two will work together to create an app that does this very thing on Xbox consoles. It’s simply a workaround discovered, and for now, we don’t foresee Xbox or Nvidia revealing this as a viable way to play games. It’s important to note that Warren tried this on his Xbox One X – perhaps an Xbox Series X can handle the workaround better.Īs noted by PCWorld, this is not a method Xbox or Nvidia highlight or even suggest. You can play games via your Xbox controller or keyboard and mouse through this method. Once there, log in and select the game you want to try out. ![]() If you want to try this for yourself, use the Edge browser on your Xbox console to go to. However, turn-based RPGs and other game types that don’t require quick reflex-based actions might be worth checking out through this odd method of streaming. You can now play Steam PC games on an Xbox with Nvidia’s GeForce Now. ![]() You can see Warren play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive below, and as he points out, it’s not an ideal experience. That’s multiple interfaces the game must be streamed through, and as you might expect, there’s a good amount of lag and latency involved. Reading that sentence alone should indicate to you how well, or rather not well, streaming Steam games through this method works. You can then stream your Steam games through GeForce Now through the Edge browser on your Xbox Series X/S or Xbox One. Basically, what’s happening is that you can use the Edge browser to access the GeForce Now streaming service online. ![]() That’s because Xbox consoles can now technically play Steam games, although you shouldn’t get too excited – this can be best described as a fun thing to check out in action rather than a legitimate and viable way to play Steam games.Īs reported by PCWorld, The Verge’s Tom Warren discovered that because Microsoft’s Edge browser runs on Xbox consoles, Nvidia’s GeForce Now streaming service, which allows you to log into PC store databases like Steam to play games you already own, can technically be run on these consoles. Still though, good luck with a lawsuit over something like that. The only difference is that VLC pops up asking for permission to view the local files where Spotify doesn't. I tested if this issue persists having only VLC installed instead of only Spotify, and sure enough the same problem is present. From my understanding, Spotify can't fix this issue because it's being caused by Samsung's default apps settings not working correctly.
